Hem Jeans

I tried this on a pair of maternity jeans that were way too long for me and it totally worked. It was really easy too. I found the link on Pinterest.

Diaper tricycle

This was my attempt to using the leftovers diapers to make a diaper tricycle. I have to use everything I had on hand, so its a little ghetto. Its for a boy baby shower, but I didnt have any boy dolls or even a big enough teddy bear to ride it. You get the picture though....

Diaper cake

This isn't a sewing project, but its craft I guess. I have never made a diaper cake and made this for my friends for her baby shower. She is having a boy and her theme is western/cowboys. She is decorating the nursery vintage cowboys and Indians. So cute!!!
I added socks, a cowboy outfit, bum spray, onesie, and cute blue and red ribbon.

Toddler Skirt w/ elastic waist

I needed a cute girly skirt for Brooklind's 2nd birthday party coming up. She has her yo gabba gabba t-shirt that is that same color blue (her party is yo gabba gabba theme). So I decided to take the challenge and do it myself. It took a lot more time than expected, but I did it in about 2 hours. I guess not bad for my first clothing project.
I used an elastic band for the waist. And the tulle rosette fabric with a silky liner. I didn't want to have to do I liner, but the tulle was pretty see through so I had too. There are many little imperfections, but I kind of hid them. I am happy with how it turned out. I am surprised it turned out this good...HAHA

Pillow cover with big bow

This was a very frustrating project that I took on. Originally I wanted it to be an envelope fold in the back, but I just couldn't do it. So I ended up just sewing it all the way around. I added the cute bow to add character so it wasn't so boring. I go the bow tutorial off of pinterest. Here is the link: Click on this picture

Diaper holder

This time I remembered to sew on the Velcro before I finished the project. I made this one for a friend of my who had a baby boy and the nurser theme is nautical with reds and blues.
